I really love the technology behind the New Planet Of the apes trilogy. Old one was remarkable too but what Deta Digital made with new one is pure gem and being a CG enthusiast I know the value.

Facial expressions of Caesar in the movie are on point thanks to legendary physical acting of Andy Serkis ,he knows his stuff he is the best actor in the world.

The character design and Rendering is mind blowing and it got better with each part.

Motion capture technology is groundbreaking and slowly it has completely changed the CGI world.

One can reduce the error in animations and work load using this technology.

If you remember the war for the planet of the apes you know this wonderful scene but it was in a snowy and windy environment and this one is completely warm and have lots of fire and explosion because Dawn of the planet of the apes had it.

This was my plan to draw a scene which can hold vibes of both the movies.

I really wish I could render the scene but my skills and hardware limitations are stoping me.

There were plenty of references from both the movie to give me the idea of the painting, it took some time but it's here finally.

I used Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and I am getting along with it pretty well I think so I don't plan on changing my platform for now.
