Dr. Manhattan
If you know him then probably you're his fan too.
I gave him a more primitive yet cosmic body form to show his strength in a different way.
Being able to do stuff in 3d allows me to create my own light references and I did the same here I created an environment with a basic 3d model and lightened that with my requirement of reference and then I painted this using that reference in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro.
The background is created by First adding different color schemes then mixed them with a wash brush Then in the next layer I added a glow brush to create the Dr's symbol and then changed the layer's property to soft glow to get the blending effect. Then I painted with an airbrush in the next layer and changed its layer property to color dodge to get the textured mixing effect.
Then all the finishing details are with textured essentials and scattering glow brushes.
The best thing about digital art is that you're able to create more details and have a broad range of ideas.
